Discipleship

Discipleship 101

Are you ready to make a lasting investment—with eternal returns? Discipleship 101 is a great place to strengthen your relationship with God by digging into the foundational practices of following Jesus.

In this class, we’ll explore how to study Scripture with purpose, develop a vibrant prayer life, and better understand the role of the Holy Spirit in our everyday lives and relationships.

Whether you’re new to your faith or have been walking with Jesus for years and want to go deeper, this class is for you.

Discipleship 102

Discipleship 102 is designed to be the natural next step in your spiritual growth journey after completing Discipleship 101. While the first class laid a strong foundation for following Jesus, this course takes you deeper into understanding your identity in Christ and how that identity shapes every part of your life.

In this class, we will explore what it truly means to live as a passionate follower of Christ—seeing life through His perspective and learning to walk in the power and freedom that come from knowing Him. Together, we will uncover the transforming power of God’s Word and discover how the words we speak carry influence and impact in our relationships and daily lives.

We will also take time to walk through the vital topics of forgiveness and compassion—seeing how Jesus modeled both perfectly, and how we can live them out in our own journeys. By engaging with Scripture, open discussion, and practical application, Discipleship 102 will not only deepen your relationship with God but also strengthen your ability to live out your faith with authenticity and grace.

How to Study the Bible

The Book of Jonah

This five-week introductory course is designed to help you grow in both confidence and skill when studying the Bible. Together, we will walk through the book of Jonah—a short yet profound book that continues to capture hearts with its depth, power, and timeless application to life.

Our approach will be guided by the wisdom of Proverbs 2:1–5, where Solomon encourages us to seek understanding and insight as if searching for hidden treasure. We will begin each session with prayer, asking God to open our hearts and minds. From there, we’ll carefully observe the text, apply hermeneutical (interpretation) principles, and seek to discover both the meaning of the passage and its application to our daily lives.

Each week, you’ll receive a short assignment that will help prepare you for discussion for the following class. This hands-on practice is meant to build your skills and confidence in studying Scripture for yourself.

The cost for materials is $10. Whether you are brand new to Bible study or looking for a refresher, this course will help you learn to listen attentively to God’s Word, understand its meaning, and live it out.
